Purpose: Responsible for providing in the field service of E/One Utility Systems Business equipment. This position requires extensive travel throughout the United States and some international travel as well. Core Responsibilities: Identifies, analyzes, repairs, and modifies E/One products at customer locations and/or at E/One facility. Performs system start-up, commissioning and training of customer personnel, and the training may include Microsoft Power Point presentations. Provides technical support via telephone and in writing to customers and agents, which may include solving technical problems with equipment including interaction between the equipment and the power plant. Creates site technical service reports, including preparing documentation for invoicing. Domestic and international travel including emergency customer support with little to no advanced notice, which includes gaining access to Power Plants, Paper Mills, Refineries and Nuclear Power Plants. Maintains database records associated with customer complaint, RMA and Warranty activities. Supports marketing, engineering, production and product development projects as required. Conducts work onsite in accordance with OSHA and plant specific safety qualifications. Typical work area is hazardous area, Zone 2, dealing with hydrogen gas. The work environment is typically outdoors at industrial facilities and occasionally in weather extremes over 100ºF and less than 0ºF. Work may include accessing job sites via ladders or other lifting devices, working with pressure vessels, rotating machinery and compressed gas cylinders.
