Field Service Technician
About The Position
A busy equipment manufacturer located in Montgomeryville, PA is seeking a Field Service Technician to join their team. Person will be responsible for installation, preventive maintenance, servicing and troubleshooting water treatment equipment (Filtration, Reverse Osmosis and Deionization), exchanging service deionization tanks and completing necessary paperwork. Currently 30% travel to Customer locations, within a two-hour travel distance from Montgomeryville. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, mechanical fabrication and testing, repairs, system cleaning, disinfection, calibrations and other required services.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical
- Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
- Must have a clean driving record
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on High Purity Water Treatment Systems at Customers sites i.e. filter changes, portable DI/Carbon tank exchanges, RO cleanings and sanitizations, UV lamp and quartz sleeve replacements, loop sanitizations and equipment calibrations
- Perform emergency service for Customers, as required, to change portable DI/Carbon tanks, fix leaks and/or equipment malfunctions
- Fill out service reports detailing maintenance performed and equipment / system status
- Provide thorough documentation of all work, parts, and time in accordance with SOPs
