About The Position

The Field Service Technician plays a critical role in ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance of video, internet, and customer-facing technologies at serviced properties and commercial offices. This position requires a proactive, customer-focused individual who delivers reliable on-site support, resolves technical issues efficiently, and maintains accurate records. The technician contributes to customer satisfaction by providing timely, professional service while adapting to evolving technologies and operational demands.

Requirements

  • Proven customer service skills with a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to meet scheduled appointment windows and manage time effectively.
  • Experience with routers (Calix experience is a plus) and foundational networking knowledge.
  • Comfortable performing light installations and diagnosing basic technical problems.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve onsite issues related to video, internet, and customer connectivity.
  • Install and activate routers, TVs, and internet services using plug-and-play methods.
  • Maintain accurate service records by updating tickets and managing appointment schedules.
  • Stay current with both existing and emerging technologies through continuous learning.
  • Communicate service updates and issues to field teams and management promptly.
