About The Position
Dillon Toyota Lift is hiring a Field Service Technician (Forklift Mechanic) to service and repair warehouse and material handling equipment at customer locations in the Salt Lake area. This is a field-based role for someone who enjoys hands-on mechanical work, problem-solving, and working independently.
Requirements
- Mechanical or technician experience (automotive, forklifts, heavy equipment, or related industry)
- Willingness to learn electrical and hydraulic systems (experience helpful but not required)
- Comfortable working independently in the field
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical work
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair forklifts and warehouse equipment (Toyota and other makes)
- Perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting
- Communicate with service managers, parts, and dispatch
- Complete work orders, labor hours, and parts documentation
- Maintain a company service van and inventory
