About The Position

OPEX Corporation is seeking a full-time onsite Field Service Technician specializing in Warehouse Automation. The role involves using hand tools for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of material handling equipment, particularly robotic technology. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a strong mechanical and electronic background.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in a related field or equivalent hands-on job experience.
• Ability to work overtime when required.
• PC competency, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Windows OS.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Possession of a driver's license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds independently.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the duration of the shift.
• Ability to maneuver in and around equipment, including small spaces.

Responsibilities

• Keep equipment running in production through maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of material handling equipment.
• Install and set up new equipment.
• Interact with customers to determine problems and provide solutions.
• Complete field service reports and keep customers informed about repairs.
• Collaborate with management and personnel to analyze and correct equipment performance issues.
• Complete and submit weekly online timecards and expense reports.
