Motivate is seeking a qualified Station Technician (Field Service Technician) to join our Boston bikeshare team. The technician will help maintain station terminals and station components. Traveling around the system, the station technician will check the docking stations and provide maintenance to ensure proper operations. The starting schedule will be Wednesday – Sunday, daytime shift. Please note that schedules are subject to change as outlined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement and for business need. Complete maintenance and test functionality of station components performing all diagnostic testing, troubleshooting station malfunctions and issues, both simple and complex, and completing both minor and major repairs Ensure that power is maintained to the network of stations, replacing and returning batteries to the depot for charging, inspecting batteries for safety and functionality Demonstrate expertise in all technical aspects and components of station hardware and software Operate a motor vehicle and ride a bicycle throughout an urban environment Ensure that all necessary reporting is accurate, complete, and timely Complete special projects assigned by management team
