About The Position

Solar Gaines is growing, and we are looking to add a service technician to our expanding team. The solar service technician coordinates service requests, troubleshoots, and resolves issues.

Requirements

Experience working with commercial and residential PV systems.
Working knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes as they relate to solar PV installations and inspection compliance.
Demonstrated knowledge of DC electrical.
Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
Experience reading blueprints, plans, and manufacturer specs.
Effective time management and teamwork skills.
Must be able to lift 60 lbs.
Must be comfortable working from elevated environments.
Basic math skills and reading comprehension.
Proficiency in using computers.
Minimum 5 years of PV installation and/or service experience
OSHA 10 certification
Valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

Journeyman Electrician license

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair malfunctioning solar systems and electrical components.
Complete tasks safely, correctly, and on schedule.
Ensure PPE, tools, and equipment assigned are maintained in good working condition or replaced as required.
