About The Position

Dignitas Technologies is looking for a qualified Field Service Technician SME to support the LFS PLM.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years of hands-on experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and sustaining electromechanical or electronic systems within a DoD, training systems, or defense support environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, technical manuals, and maintenance documentation to diagnose and resolve complex system faults.
  • Experience supporting depot-level maintenance, field service operations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation for mission-critical systems.
  • Duties include coordination within a climate-controlled logistics facility supporting electronic components and spare parts inventory, as well as participation in meetings at Government and contractor sites.
  • Positions may require travel to CONUS (and potentially OCONUS) military installations to support live-fire training ranges, conduct on-site troubleshooting, integration, and program reviews.
  • Compliance with applicable security, cybersecurity, OPSEC, and safety requirements is mandatory.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance, as required by the contract; must comply with OPSEC, cybersecurity, and credentialing requirements.
  • Ability to travel to CONUS (and potentially OCONUS) military installations and work in outdoor live-fire range environments and operational settings.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver equipment, use diagnostic tools and test equipment, and perform hands-on technical tasks in warehouse, depot, and field conditions.
  • Field support activities may involve outdoor environments and operational range conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair, and sustainment activities for BATL and ARC systems at the depot and field levels, ensuring systems are restored to fully mission-capable condition in accordance with approved Technical Data Packages (TDPs) and maintenance manuals.
  • Provide on-site technical support to military installations for complex system issues that cannot be resolved through telephonic assistance, following systematic diagnostic procedures and documenting findings through formal reports and situation updates.
  • Support configuration updates, component replacements, firmware updates, and approved engineering changes, ensuring compliance with configuration control requirements and established quality standards.
  • Develop, document, and implement maintenance best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability, reduce repeat failures, and support lifecycle sustainment objectives.
