Field Service Technician Senior - Rotator
About The Position
Performs maintenance and repair activities on gas compression and/or process equipment at customer's location as directed. Acts as a technical resource for more complex issues in assigned area. Essential Duties : Maintains a safe and well-organized work environment and models all health, safety, and environmental procedures. Performs Preventative Maintenance (PM) to standard with no help. Performs most Call-Outs (CO) without assistance from a technical expert. Diagnoses and repairs mechanical problems on multiple types of equipment including compressor packages, gas process and power generation equipment used within the region. Leads a team performing Major Maintenance (MM), Overhaul and MOB / DEMOB projects to standard with limited to no assistance. Completes and submits the required documentation accurately and quickly. Non-Essential Duties: â¯Performs other duties as assigned. All employees shall be in compliance with the Archrock Health Safety and Environmental Policy and local, statutory and/or regulatory requirements at all times. Requirements
- Perform all essential duties.
- Demonstrate advanced diagnostic and repair skills on multiple types of equipment, including compressor packages, gas process, and power generation equipment used within the region.
- Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) to standard with no help.
- Lead a team performing Major Maintenance (MM), Overhaul and MOB / DEMOB projects to standard with limited to no assistance.
- Perform compressor calculations.
- Demonstrate customer service skills.
- Read, write, and speak English (work orders, manuals, etc.)
- Model all health, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Use computer skills, including vendor-specific programs (Cat, Waukesha, Ariel, Murphy, etc.), Internet Explorer, and Outlook.
- Regularly complete and submit company-required documentation in an accurate and timely fashion.
- Respond to after-hours requests regularly on an on-call basis.
