About The Position

Join Siemens in Philadelphia as a Field Service Technician, working hands-on with advanced Charger locomotives and Venture coaches. This job will train you on how to troubleshoot, repair, and implement field modifications, working directly with customers to achieve reliability and satisfaction throughout the warranty period. Requirements

• High school diploma (or GED)
• Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
• Valid Driver's license in good standing
• Ability to read and understand schematics, maintenance, repair, and FMI documents
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP is a plus
• Willingness to work various shifts and days off
• Ability to work independently and without much supervision
• Ability to work safely, report hazards, and recognize risks
• Legally authorized for employment in the United States

Responsibilities

• Commission and support warranty operations for locomotives and coaches
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues
• Use diagnostic software and laptops for system assessments
• Interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and circuit plans
• Document failures, repairs, and modifications
• Implement Field Modifications (FMIs) to improve quality
• Communicate with team members and site leads
• Follow all company and industry safety procedures
