About The Position
Demaray Pool Supply, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Service Technician/Retail Sales professional to join our team in Vacaville, CA. This full-time position involves a combination of field service and retail responsibilities, primarily focused on the maintenance and repair of swimming pools and related equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and repairing client swimming pools while adhering to all company policies and procedures. Additionally, the role includes the installation of swimming pool equipment and providing exceptional customer service at all times. As a Field Technician, you will complete all tasks required to maintain swimming pools, ensuring that all documentation is accurately recorded on work orders and on-site logs. Regular communication with customers is essential, and you will be expected to follow the company's communication guidelines. You will also need to learn and adhere to all policies related to operating and maintaining a company vehicle, as well as identifying and acquiring the necessary materials for pool maintenance. In the retail aspect of the role, you will provide excellent customer service, manage internal projects such as orders and shop work, and promote growth in customer relationships and sales. The ability to work independently without direct supervision is crucial, as you may be required to complete tasks without additional staff support. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to company policies, particularly regarding the use of personal protective equipment such as steel-toe boots. To succeed in this role, you must be able to learn various disciplines related to plumbing, water chemistry, basic electrical work, hydraulics, and proper pool operation. The physical demands of the job include lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, standing, crouching, kneeling, twisting, and bending. You will be working outdoors in various weather conditions, which requires adaptability and resilience. A valid California driver's license with a satisfactory driving record is also required for this position.
