About The Position

As a Field Service Technician I at BearCom, you will play a crucial role in the installation and support of wireless communications systems. This position requires exceptional customer service skills and technical expertise to deliver effective solutions that meet customer needs. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing wireless equipment, performing basic installations, and may require some regional travel and on-call hours.

Requirements

• 3+ years of service technician experience in diagnosing, repairing, programming, and installing two-way radio equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass drug screenings and background checks.
• Associate degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP principles and NIC programming.

Nice To Haves

• Basic electronics background (12V and/or low-voltage systems).
• RF/Telecommunications/Networking experience.
• CET Certification.
• Security Clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and support wireless communications systems.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients.
• Create basic programming codeplugs for wireless devices.
• Perform basic mobile installations including radios, antennas, and modems.
• Troubleshoot and repair defective two-way radios and other wireless equipment.
• Engage in regional and/or overnight travel as required.
