About The Position

The Field Service Technician role at NCR VOYIX involves providing exceptional service to customers in the retail, restaurant, and banking industries. This position is crucial for maintaining and troubleshooting electromechanical equipment, ensuring that customer installations and service calls are handled promptly and effectively. Requirements

• Electronics troubleshooting skills are essential.
• Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software is required.
• Basic PC skills and some specific hardware and operating system familiarity are necessary.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a driving record that satisfies NCR fleet requirements.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including rotating shifts and some holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a field service role or similar position is preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and technical skills are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively.
• Service electromechanical equipment such as self-checkout systems within an assigned territory.
• Organize and triage customer issues, providing solutions in a helpful and engaging manner.
• Engage in prolonged travel, including driving several hours per day and overnight stays as needed.
• Carry and lift tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance.
