Field Service Technician / Mechanic
About The Position
Western Branch Diesel, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, has an opening for a Field Service Technician at our location in Columbus, Ohio. This individual should have previous experience as a technician. Indel Power Group is a distributor/dealer for major brands such as mtu, Detroit Diesel, Allison Transmission, Cummins, Caterpillar, Volvo Penta, Freightliner, Western Star, Isuzu, Autocar, and Crane Carrier to name a few. Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years heavy duty diesel experience
- Full set of tools to work on heavy equipment
- Willing to work weekends and nights on occasion
Nice To Haves
- Perkins repair experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform skilled tasks in the diagnosis of malfunctions, repairs, preventive maintenance, adjustments, and overhauls
- Use OEM software, tools, and technologies to maintain, diagnose, and complete repairs to promptly address and resolve customer vehicle or equipment concerns
- Commitment to safety and cleanliness
- Maintain open communication with management team regarding job status, updates, and changes
