As a Road Mechanic, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of makes, models, and equipment in challenging remote locations. You will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on equipment to ensure minimal downtime. Our fleet includes Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, and specialty lines such as large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas-related equipment. To succeed in this role, you will need a high school diploma or GED, with some trade school or equivalent training preferred. We are looking for candidates with 3-5 years of mechanic experience, particularly with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty lines equipment. A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record are required, and in some locations, a CDL license may be necessary. You will also need to be knowledgeable about hydraulic and electrical systems, and possess the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual skills may be required based on location needs. The physical demands of this role include bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more, as well as working indoors and outdoors as needed.
