Field Service Technician – Level I REPORTS TO: District Manager JOB SUMMARY: Scope of this position is to assist in rigging up and rigging down of Scout and third-party equipment on customer fracking locations. Responsibilities are but not limited to: At all times operate in a safe and responsible manner ensuring your own personal safety and the safety of those around you. Adhere to and enforce company policies and safety standards. Assisting with unloading and loading trucks on company properties and customer locations using forklift and executing basic lifts. Assist with rig up and rig down operations on customer locations according to customer specifications. Activities consist of: Rigging up low pressure manifold system. Rig up of butterfly valves and air-actuated systems. Prepping API-type connections. Conduct field inventory lists as well as collecting asset numbers. Other responsibilities and duties as appropriate to the rig up and down process. Clean and maintain Scout-owned tooling. Assist with inspecting equipment and reporting any malfunctioning or damaged products. Responsible for maintaining tools and equipment, including reporting of malfunctions in tools and equipment. Assisting with equipment prep including pressure washing, staging, and visual inspection. Gaining knowledge in magna particle inspection. Gaining knowledge in API torque specifications. Other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
