The Field Service Technician IV manages, implements and performs startup services for new equipment installation, existing equipment, and system repairs. Total responsibility for commissioning Large Range UF & MBR Systems. Demonstrates appropriate leadership and job site management skills. Develops accurate commissioning plans including labor hours and expense costs. Coordinates start-up activities of techs and contractors. Provides feedback for continuous improvement of the commissioning and start-up process. Contributes to the execution of the project from prior to kick-off meeting through the warranty period. Able to schedule his/her own time at site as needed. Interfaces with contractor, owner, and engineer in a positive manner to achieve efficient completion of the project. High level control system & water quality instrumentation troubleshooting skills. Test control panels/industrial networks. Advanced development and troubleshooting of PLCs, SCADA applications & HMIs. This job requires 95% travel and must be located within 1 hour of a major airport.

Requirements

  • 2-year college degree or technical trade school completion.
  • Minimum 2 years of water treatment and filtration, troubleshooting, and repairs experience.
  • Requires valid driver’s license and is insurable through rental car agreements.
  • Advanced understanding of P&IDs, Electrical, Mechanical, and General Arrangement drawings.
  • Advanced working knowledge of process control systems.
  • Advanced skill set of Allen Bradley PLC programming and HMI development.
