About The Position

As a Field Service Technician IV, you will be using your skills and expertise to perform a variety of maintenance and technical support on our products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations. You'll be responsible for installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and modifying our products and updating and tracking the status of all field related equipment. You'll build and maintain effective relationships with our customers and provide them with onsite training. This is a DEPLOY ONLY role working overseas on a 90 day rotation basis. The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to understand and interpret basic technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications.
  • Progressive experience using troubleshooting techniques and repair radar and communication systems.
  • Background in networking, radar, communications.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read complex drawings and proficiency with precision tools.
  • Thorough understanding of electrical wiring concepts.
  • Provide technical support for computer systems and networks.
  • Install, sustain, troubleshoot, and repair various communication systems.
  • Ability to frequently travel outside the continental US, typically for extended periods of time.
  • An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required.
  • Current/valid passport and ability to obtain a visa to travel internationally.
  • Successfully pass a pre-deployment medical assessment.
  • Ability to meet current DoD and Combatant Command restriction requirements for deployed locations.
  • Ability to deploy for a minimum of 90 days to OCONUS operating location.
  • Must be willing and able to work extended hours, holidays and shift schedules as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with FCC or FCC GROL.
  • Prior experience with Security+, Network+, CCNA and/or A+.
  • Basic understanding of Spectrometer, Oscilloscope and/or Pilot Static Equipment gauges.
  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military.
