About The Position

As a Field Service Technician III, you will perform a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations. Your responsibilities include installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and modifying products, as well as updating and tracking the status of all field-related equipment. You will also build and maintain effective relationships with customers and provide them with onsite training. The role is within the ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area, which is a leader in ISR and aviation, and a prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator. IAS provides end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities, including design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training, and complete logistics support. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, and typically 4 or more years of relevant experience
  • Ability to understand and interpret basic technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications
  • Progressive experience using troubleshooting techniques
  • Thorough understanding of electrical wiring concepts
  • Ability to frequently travel outside the continental US, typically for extended periods of time
  • Ability to deploy for a period of up to 90 days OCONUS, depending on mission needs
  • Ability to deploy for an extended amount of time to various OCONUS operating locations
  • Ability to meet current DoD and Combatant Command requirements for deployed locations
  • Successfully pass a pre-deployment medical assessment
  • Must be willing and able to work extended hours, holidays and shift schedules as required
  • Ability to obtain a current/valid passport and be able to obtain a visa to travel internationally
  • A United States Government Security Clearance is required for employment (current/active Secret U.S. Security Clearance)
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree in a related field of study
  • Experience with FCC or FCC GROL
  • Prior experience with Security+, Network+, CCNA and/or A+
  • Basic understanding of Spectrometer, Oscilloscope and/or Pilot Static Equipment gauges
  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military
