About The Position

Field Service Technician III ITnova is seeking a Field Service Technician III to provide advanced field service support for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of security and monitoring systems. This position handles complex service issues, supports system testing and verification, and may provide guidance to junior technicians while ensuring system reliability and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in Computer Science or another information technology-related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Five (5) years of experience maintaining or servicing security systems with an Associate’s Degree; or Six (6) years of experience maintaining or servicing security systems with a High School Diploma.
  • Experience in maintaining and servicing systems such as: CCTV Access Control Systems Ambient Air Monitoring Systems

Responsibilities

  • Support field service activities for systems including CCTV, Access Control Systems, Ambient Air Monitoring Systems, and other security technologies identified in the RFP.
  • Perform advanced installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of security and monitoring systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex system faults and performance issues.
  • Conduct system testing, verification, and validation following maintenance or repair activities.
  • Document service activities, findings, and resolutions in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Coordinate work with project managers, engineers, and customers as required.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior field technicians when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures.
