Field Service Technician II
About The Position
As a Field Service Technician II, you will be a key member of our Field Service team, responsible for the proper setup and maintenance of beverage equipment at various client locations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our clients' beverage dispensing systems while providing exceptional service. As a Field Technician II, your work will focus on fountain installation, including placing equipment, running lines, completing repairs, and ensuring proper function for all installed equipment. Requirements
- High School Diploma (or GED) High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Driving record must meet Swire’s vehicle policy requirements
- Lift up 50lbs repetitively and occasionally up to 80lbs
- Ability to operate and/or use a variety of hand and power tools
- Previous experience in beverage equipment repair, maintenance, or a related field is highly desirable
- Knowledge of electrical systems
- Ability to run plumbing and electrical lines to the equipment
- Mechanical and technical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow established procedures
- Willing to follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to ensure a safe work environment
Responsibilities
- Provide professional and courteous service while on-site, addressing client questions and concerns
- Travel to and from customer locations in assigned area
- Install, assemble, and configure beverage fountains and related equipment according to manufacturer specifications and client requirements
- Conduct routine maintenance on fountain equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance
- Ensure that all plumbing, electrical, and mechanical connections are properly installed and functioning correctly
- Perform system testing and quality checks to verify that the fountain is dispensing beverages accurately and efficiently
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with fountain equipment and components
- Perform necessary repairs, part replacements, and adjustments to resolve equipment malfunctions promptly
- Performs other duties as assigned.
