About The Position

If you have a keen eye for the big picture, excellent technical data analysis skills, and enjoy working collaboratively, we may have the perfect role for you! As a Field Service Technician II, you will be using your skills and expertise to perform a variety of maintenance and technical support on our products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations. You'll be responsible for installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and modifying our products and updating and tracking the status of all field related equipment. You'll build and maintain effective relationships with our customers and provide them with onsite training. The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 2 or more years of relevant experience.
  • Basic understanding of technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications.
  • Experience using troubleshooting techniques.
  • Understanding of electrical wiring concepts.
  • Ability to frequently travel outside the continental US, typically for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to meet current DoD and Combatant Command requirements for deployed locations.
  • Successfully pass a pre-deployment medical assessment.
  • Must be willing and able to work extended hours, holidays and shift schedules as required.
  • Current/valid passport and be able to obtain a visa to travel internationally.
  • An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree in a related field of study.
  • Experience with FCC or FCC GROL.
  • Prior experience with Security+, Network+, CCNA and/or A+.
  • Basic understanding of Spectrometer, Oscilloscope and/or Pilot Static Equipment gauges.
  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military.
