Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years working with medical devices in a hands-on environment required.
  • Experience working with FDA-supervised products preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company and state requirement.
  • Ability to acquire and maintain a DOT physical card required.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead time effectively.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, interpret, analyze, and apply technical information.

Nice To Haves

  • Applicable technical or trade school training preferred.
  • Previous driving/delivery experience preferred.
  • Adapts to new technologies and becomes comfortable with the Microsoft Office Suite of products.

Responsibilities

  • Attend monthly safety meetings and demonstrate a proactive approach to safety awareness and compliance.
  • Complete medical testing in a timely manner and sustain a clean and safe work environment, including 5S activities.
  • Safely operate a fleet vehicle ranging in size from a cargo van up to a 26,000 pound truck.
  • Perform complex repairs on medical products, including electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems troubleshooting.
  • Assess assigned products and prepare written estimates for repairs.
  • Generate service revenue and complete activities required under service contract.
  • Load, unload, deliver, and remove medical products, weighing up to 1680 pounds, to and from customer accounts.
  • Provide on-call coverage, up to 24/7 basis including weekends and holidays.
  • Complete written documents for internal, regulatory, and project documentation.
  • Conduct effective oral presentations of information to customers and co-workers.
