About The Position

Service Territory: Primary: Cambridge, Carrollton and Cadiz, OH - including out of state  Typical daily travel: 100-200 miles Position Summary: ing to the Field Service Supervisor, the Field Service Technician responds as necessary to provide major maintenance and repairs on natural gaspression rental fleet equipment within the assigned region. This position partners with manufacturing and field service teams to satisfy customer needs by addressing mechanical and electrical issues during installations, maintenance cycles and repairs as needed. They will champion service excellence, HSE policies and standards, and drive continuous improvement. Field Levels are based on applicants' years of experience and expertise. Schedule & On-Call:  Standard: Monday-Friday 7am to 5pm  Overtime: Regularly available; average 50 plus hours per week All hours are subject to change based on client needs Required On-Call Rotation: 1 week per month (24/7 availability for emergencies)  Weekend Work: Occasional planned maintenance or emergency / on-call coverage  Who we are: Natural Gas Services Group, Inc. Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • The ability to understand and ad to all job requirements and safety guidelines
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Employment for this role is contingent upon the successfulpletion of a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and MVR check in accordance withpany policy and applicable laws and requires a DOT physical.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a shop mechanic or field service technician.
  • General mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Working knowledge of oil and gas industry, including gaspression sector.
  • High school diploma (or GED equivalent)
  • Strong interpersonal andmunication skills for effective interaction with teams, vendors, and personnel.
  • Positive, “can-do” attitude with strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
  • Effective time-management skills and demonstrated ethical behavior.

Responsibilities

  • Champion and enforce all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and initiatives.
  • Perform skilled tasks including all levels of maintenance, repairs, and overhauls as directed by supervisory personnel.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose all levels of natural gaspressor system failures.
  • Optimizepression equipment performance.
  • Stay abreast of advanced natural gaspressor and engine theory and maintenance.
  • Comply with allpany and customer safety and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Comply with all otherpany policies and procedures.
  • Complete appropriate paperwork as directed.
  • Perform duties as trainer when required.
  • Continually hone and develop electronic andputer skills.
  • Demonstrate and further develop leadership skills.
  • Present a professional image.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
