Description Service Territory: Primary: Cambridge, Carrollton and Cadiz, OH - including out of state Typical daily travel: 100-200 miles Position Summary: Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor, the Field Service Technician responds as necessary to provide major maintenance and repairs on natural gas compression rental fleet equipment within the assigned region. This position partners with manufacturing and field service teams to satisfy customer needs by addressing mechanical and electrical issues during installations, maintenance cycles and repairs as needed. They will champion service excellence, HSE policies and standards, and drive continuous improvement. Field Levels are based on applicants’ years of experience and expertise. Schedule & On-Call: Standard: Monday-Friday 7am to 5pm Overtime: Regularly available; average 50 plus hours per week All hours are subject to change based on client needs Required On-Call Rotation: 1 week per month (24/7 availability for emergencies) Weekend Work: Occasional planned maintenance or emergency / on-call coverage Who we are: Natural Gas Services Group, Inc. Essential Job Functions: Champion and enforce all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and initiatives. Perform skilled tasks including all levels of maintenance, repairs, and overhauls as directed by supervisory personnel. Troubleshoot and diagnose all levels of natural gas compressor system failures. Optimize compression equipment performance. Stay abreast of advanced natural gas compressor and engine theory and maintenance. Comply with all company and customer safety and environmental policies and procedures. Comply with all other company policies and procedures. Complete appropriate paperwork as directed. Perform duties as trainer when required. Continually hone and develop electronic and computer skills. Demonstrate and further develop leadership skills. Present a professional image.
