This position requires daily travel to locations in and around the Houston IAH airport and surrounding area. The role involves meeting daily service repair needs and driving customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include installing, repairing, and maintaining equipment in the field, providing customer training as required, and documenting all inspections, maintenance, and repair work. The technician will also manage repair parts cycle time, review logs for open issues, and prepare formal reports to customers. Participation in service sales opportunities and promoting revenue programs is expected. The technician must ensure tools and test equipment are maintained and calibrated, assess product performance based on field support data, and provide technical support to customers. The role may involve site surveys, pilot program service activities, and maintaining clear business communication. The technician will establish relationships with senior level FSEs and Product Managers to support customer needs and control costs. Travel, overtime, and work hours outside of Monday-Friday may be required, along with compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.

  • Meet daily service repair needs and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Install, repair, and maintain equipment in the field; provide customer training as required.

  • Maintain clear and concise business communication, both oral and written.
  • Establish and maintain a close relationship with senior level FSEs and Product Managers.
  • Control and minimize costs.
  • Comply with and ensure department compliance with Company health, safety and environmental policies.
  • Comply with all applicable U.S. export control and security regulations.
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • Associate’s Degree/Related Trade Certification (electrical, electronic, mechanical)/Military Training (electrical, mechanical, electronics).
  • 1-3 years of experience in troubleshooting and field repair of electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong customer focus.
  • Ability to travel at short notice.
  • Computer literacy; competency in MS Office Suite and aptitude for learning specialized software programs.
  • Experience in a related electrical or mechanical field service role.
