Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a Field Service Technician capacity, preferred.
- AS, AAS, or equivalent education/work experience.
- Willingness to travel up to 90%, domestically and internationally.
- Ability to read and interpret hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical prints.
- Proactive mindset with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and web-based databases.
- Experience with multimillion dollar capital equipment products.
- Valid Driver's License and valid passport.
Responsibilities
- Install & commission new systems within the schedule and budget provided by the project team.
- Provide emergency or unscheduled repairs of equipment; be available for customer care at short notice.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on equipment, including inspections and small repairs.
- Provide advisory services during equipment install, service, and repair visits.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and electrical/mechanical CAD drawings.
- Prepare and submit inspection, service, time sheets, and expense reports in a timely manner.
- Maintain inspection records and determine trends affecting equipment performance.
- Supervise/train customer employees in testing and adjusting equipment.
- Travel approximately 90%, up to 6 weeks at a time.
