About The Position

The Service Technician will provide technical support to distributor customers, service companies, and end-user owners of Dexter equipment. This position drives a company vehicle to company and customer locations. The role requires a commitment to customer service and safety, ensuring that all tasks are performed with attention to detail and in a timely manner. The technician must be prepared for travel, which may require overnight stays, and must maintain an organized workspace and vehicle.

Requirements

• AA or Technical degree a plus.
• Previous experience in HVAC, Plumbing, and/or Electrical industry a plus.
• Basic mechanical skills.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Customer service skills.
• Safety-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to distributor customers and service companies.
• Travel occasionally up to 75% of the time to customer locations.
• Maintain an organized company vehicle.
• Communicate with customers to find solutions to their service and installation needs.
• Follow policies and procedures for the Service Department and Technicians.
• Perform all tasks safely and use proper PPE.
• Report to work/job site on time and be dependable.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Take ownership of business results and personal wellness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
