About The Position

The Field Service Technician will provide technical support to distributor customers, service companies, and end-user owners of Dexter equipment. This position drives a company vehicle to company and customer locations. The role requires a commitment to customer service and the ability to travel frequently, with occasional overnight stays. The technician must be prepared for the day by ensuring they have the right parts and tools, and must report to work on time, representing the company positively to customers.

Requirements

• AA or Technical degree is a plus.
• Previous experience in HVAC, Plumbing, and/or Electrical industry is a plus.
• Basic mechanical skills.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Customer service skills.
• Safety-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to distributor customers and end-user owners of Dexter equipment.
• Travel occasionally up to 75% of the time to customer locations.
• Maintain an organized company vehicle.
• Communicate with customers to find solutions to their service and installation needs.
• Follow policies and procedures for the Service Department and Technicians.
• Perform all tasks safely and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Report to work/job site on time and be dependable.
• Take ownership of business results and personal wellness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
