As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial coffee machines and espresso equipment, including brewers, grinders, and blenders. Your expertise will ensure that our equipment operates efficiently and meets the high standards our customers expect. In this position, you will provide best-in-class customer service, which includes troubleshooting equipment issues and offering basic training on coffee equipment directly at customer locations. You will document all service procedures meticulously, including creating electronic invoices and maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and quality issues. Additionally, you will be responsible for driving and maintaining a clean and organized service vehicle, ensuring that all necessary parts and tools are readily available for each service call. To succeed in this role, you should possess a high school diploma or GED and have at least two years of relevant electro-technical experience with espresso coffee machines. Strong customer service skills are essential, as you will be interacting with clients regularly. You must also be able to work on an on-call rotation, which may include nights and weekends, and be prepared for occasional overnight travel. Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 70 pounds and drive frequently. Proficiency in using smartphones and tablets for record-keeping is also required.
