About The Position
Highr1 is hiring a Field Service Technician – Boiler Systems to join our team supporting mission-critical operations across a range of industrial environments. In this hands-on, field-based role, you’ll apply your technical expertise to perform preventive maintenance, water treatment, and emergency service calls while interfacing directly with industry-leading clients. This position requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical field service or mechanical/electrical troubleshooting. Veterans, especially Navy Nuclear Technicians (ELTs, ROs)ar, e highly encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- 5+ years of technical field service or industrial mechanical/electrical troubleshooting experience
- Familiarity with environments such as semiconductors, food & beverage, oil & gas, and pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to perform calmly under pressure and manage unpredictable field conditions
- Professional communication and customer service mindset
- Self-starter attitude with the ability to travel and work independently

- Military-trained technicians—particularly Navy Nukes (ELTs, ROs)—are strongly encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site service, troubleshooting, and technical support for industrial boiler systems and related equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance and respond to emergency service needs
- Interact confidently and professionally with clients at customer sites
- Travel regionally and nationally up to 6 weeks per year for training, startup support, and service calls
- Operate a company-provided service truck (semi-personal use permitted)
- Handle logistics and job-related purchases using a company-issued credit card
- Utilize and maintain company-issued specialty equipment (e.g., combustion analyzers, pressure manometers)
- Supply and maintain your own basic hand and power tools
