About The Position

The Field Service Technician (I) will be expected to travel throughout the USA. This role will work within in the team to execute mechanical and electrical tasks in direct support of completing field service projects on equipment utilized in Power Transmission, Distribution, and Generation. This role will participate in the installation, maintenance and or repair of electrical equipment following defined procedures and industry standards. This role will market companies capabilities for future opportunities. This role will need to support mechanical and electrical in the following areas that requires supervision from Transformer Assembly, Electrical Testing, Controls, LTC’s, Oil Processing.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License
• Mechanically inclined and have basic knowledge of hand tools.
• Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
• Basic understanding of operating heavy machinery/equipment.
• Self-directed, positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to follow instructions/directions.
• Advanced computer skills.
• Conform to all safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipment.

• Manufacturing or Industrial experience

Responsibilities

• Installation, maintenance and or repair of electrical equipment following defined procedures and industry standards.
• Receive assignments and instructions from lead and manager – both verbal and written.
• Read, understand, and follow guidelines set forth by Company procedures and blueprints when performing assigned work.
• Select proper materials and parts for assembly operations.
• Setup and layout materials and tools for all assembly operations.
• Maintain the required clearances and dimensions for the voltage classifications specified.
• Support Field Service Technician with: Transformer Assembly, Electrical Testing, Controls, LTC’s, Oil Processing.
