The position involves providing quality service execution performance to meet or exceed customer commitments resulting in high levels of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and modifying equipment, conducting technical analysis of product implementations, troubleshooting technical problems, and providing technical training and product briefings.

  • Provide on-site service and installation of instrumentation related to Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems.
  • Perform on-site installation, diagnose performance issues, repair, and preventative maintenance.
  • Travel frequently, via airline or rental car, to locations around the country.
  • Work outdoors on elevated platforms throughout the year.
  • Climb ladders and stairs to reach stack platforms, which could be as little as 20’ to 150’.
  • Work with minimal supervision while maintaining Teledyne Ethical standards.
  • Provide technical support to customers via telephone.
  • Conduct on-the-job training (OJT) for customers.
  • Perform advanced fiber optic splicing and termination tasks.
  • Complete other duties as deemed necessary by management.
  • Associate degree in engineering, technology or related scientific study.
  • Related field experience troubleshooting/repairing analytical equipment and/or training is a plus.
  • Ability to be analytical, solve problems, and provide technical support.
  • Experience with customer service.
  • Ability to work well with other team members.
  • Professional written and oral communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel overnight up to 75% of the normal work week.
  • CEMS experience is a plus, but not a requirement.
  • Salary Range: $49,300.00-$65,700.00
  • Pay Transparency: Actual compensation is determined based on several factors including location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
