About The Position

As a Fire Service Supervisor, you will play an essential role in ensuring the effective coordination, execution, and follow‑up of service activities. You’ll supervise and schedule daily technician operations in partnership with the Scheduler and help guide overall service execution to meet branch goals in revenue, sales, and margins. This role combines operational oversight, customer engagement, technician development, and safety leadership—all while fostering a high‑performance, team‑focused environment. You will also serve as a mentor and coach, helping technicians grow their skills and ensuring all service commitments are met with excellence.

Requirements

  • Understanding and knowledge of water-based fire protection systems
  • Proven supervisory and leadership abilities, including training, team building, presentation, negotiation, and customer engagement
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience
  • Willingness to travel locally/regionally, including nights and weekends as needed

  • NICET Level II certification

Responsibilities

  • Implement plans and processes to meet and exceed corporate goals.
  • Maximize market potential by driving new bookings (sales), revenue, and profitability.
  • Maintain proactive, effective communication with customers from initial contact through service delivery.
  • Build strong customer relationships by ensuring contractual obligations are met.
  • Resolve service concerns, complaints, and collection issues quickly and professionally to strengthen long-term customer loyalty.
  • Establish fair, manageable territories for technicians.
  • Set clear performance measurements and motivate employees to achieve or exceed objectives.
  • Train and mentor clerical and dispatch personnel, including proficiency in CRM systems and key job procedures.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship to ensure technicians have a clear and accelerated development path.
  • Support technical skill-building and professional growth opportunities.
  • Ensure all employees follow corporate safety policies and best practices.
  • Maintain thorough, complete, and up‑to‑date safety training for all team members.
  • Identify and report hazards and conditions requiring corrective action to the corporate safety team.
