S&C Electric Company is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Field Services function. As a Field Service Specialist (Scheduler/Planner), you’ll be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and supporting our diverse team. Field Service (Scheduler/Planner) opportunity available at the West Palm Beach, FL Service Center with S&C Electric Company. This position is for an individual with extensive experience scheduling S&C Field Service teams responsible for executing upgrades, checkouts, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repairs of S&C equipment that are installed in the field. This role will work closely with the sales, project management, parts, technical support, and other S&C offices/agencies to coordinate field services. Excellent analytical skills and a strong technical background are required.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in an office or dispatcher setting related to customer service.
  • Strong customer communication skills, both oral and written
  • Knowledge of and experience with Oracle preferred
  • Basic Microsoft Word, Excel with ability to run reports and extract data, and strong knowledge/experience Outlook.
  • Solid writing skills including the ability to take drafts prepared by others to a final format.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a detailed, fast paced, and customer-oriented environment.
  • Understanding of Salesforce, or similar customer relationship management systems.
  • Experience in a customer service or field service-oriented role preferred
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, Detailed Oriented, and multitasking skills

Responsibilities

  • Create, assign, and update SalesForce Cases & Work Orders
  • Enter RMA’s and Sales Orders in Oracle.
  • Coordinate several concurrent field service requests in a timely manner
  • Communicate with Project Managers to define job needs and identify requirements/responsibilities
  • Manage customer specific operating requirements to ensure our work plan covers all Field Service & S&C needs while meeting customer expectations (paper trail, certifications, timing etc.)
  • Available for after-hour and weekend emergency phone support, typically on a rotational basis
  • Work closely with the Global Support Monitoring Center (GSMC) to support customers’ needs
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
  • Attend in-person or virtual meetings as requested or required.
  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with others.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
