Field Service Specialist III - IMAGING, provides specialty medical equipment services primarily on various high end Imaging equipment within assigned region. Primary duties include, but are not limited to, performing preventive maintenance inspections, installation support, testing, calibration, troubleshooting and maintenance on multiple high-end specialty imaging modalities (MRI, CT, Cath Lab, X-ray, Nuc-med) and on low end modalities (Ultrasound, injectors) as needed. This individual shall be competent in the use of all applicable test equipment and tools required in the performance of the duties and be able to teach and coach others as needed. The Field Service Specialist will ensure compliance with changes in regulations, policies and procedures set by national and state regulatory bodies. Responsible to ensure that all scheduled work is accomplished on time, customer needs are met, and the day-to-day operations impacting revenue are communicated as needed and appropriate resources are utilized to minimize any service interruptions. The position also has service support scheduling and vendor management responsibility. Individuals shall be required to provide regional technical support for resolving difficult equipment issues. This individual contributes to department improvement, collaborates, and maintains positive relationships with customers.
