Clifford Power Systems, Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate for a position as a Generator Field Service Satellite Technician in the Harlingen area. The position requires an understanding of combustion engines, as our products are typically driven by Diesel, Natural Gas, or Propane engines. You also need an understanding of Electricity. We work with a wide range of A/C power like 120/240v single phase or 277/480v three phase. We also work with D/C controls ranging from 12v to 24v. Last but not least, we use a laptop to interface with controls software. A day in the life of a Generator Field Service Technician includes pulling up your schedule on a tablet/laptop, traveling to job sites in a company-supplied Service Truck, performing routine maintenance inspections, engine services, quoted service repairs, emergency trouble calls, and commissioning new generators. You will finalize your paperwork electronically and sync information via a Mobile Technician Application, returning home at the end of the day.
