About The Position

Join Veolia as a Field Service Representative (FSR) in our Chemical Solutions and Monitoring (CSM) division and advance your career in hands-on technical service and sustainability! About This Opportunity We're seeking a Field Service Representative to deliver exceptional on-site technical service as technical liaison between Veolia and our industrial customers. You'll work with a team and independently at a key customer's site, providing expert installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting services for chemical feed equipment and water treatment systems while building lasting customer relationships through technical excellence.

Requirements

  • Technical degree/diploma in Electrical, Electronic Technology, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline preferred, a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • 2+ years of experience in instrumentation & electronics, plant operations/maintenance, or equivalent technical training
  • A full valid driver's license and willingness to travel (a learner's permit or G1/G2 class will not qualify)
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities for electrical and mechanical systems
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Safety-minded approach with ability to work in various industrial environments
  • Physical ability to lift 30-50 lbs and perform precision work
  • Computer proficiency and mathematical skills for technical analysis

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with water treatment processes and industrial equipment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Technical Service & Installation: Install, commission, and service chemical feed equipment, pumps, controllers, and instrumentation systems at customer locations
  • Customer Consultation: Act as technical consultant providing expert recommendations, training, and solutions to customer management and technical teams
  • System Optimization & Troubleshooting: Perform water analysis, calibrate equipment, program controllers, conduct preventative maintenance, and diagnose/resolve system issues through remote support technologies and on-site interventions
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain detailed service reports, inventory management, and ensure all safety protocols are followed
  • Territory Management: Support multiple customer sites within assigned territory, coordinating with sales teams for optimal service delivery
