About the position

The Field Service Representative plays a crucial role in providing operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems across various industries. This position involves working with advanced technologies such as media filtration, wastewater treatment, reverse osmosis, and more, ensuring optimal equipment performance and compliance with contract specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct maintenance and calibration activities on water treatment systems.
  • Consult with customer management and operation teams to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Perform mechanical, electrical, and controls troubleshooting on equipment including valves, air compressors, and process pumps.
  • Create and maintain site paperwork, providing detailed technical summaries of work performed to customers.
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts and ensure adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts.
  • Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems for water treatment processes.
  • Perform analytical testing such as turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, and other site-specific testing requirements.
  • Enter and complete work orders in the Maintenance Program (MaintainX).
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in industrial settings such as oil fields, refineries, or chemical plants.
  • Electrical, chemical, and/or mechanical experience is required.
  • Basic computer skills including email, data entry, and EHS reporting are necessary.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs is required.
  • High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification or international equivalent is mandatory.
  • Current TWIC Card is required.
  • Current Driver's License is necessary.

Nice-to-haves

  • Forklift experience/training is preferred.
  • Bachelor or Associates Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in Instrumentation, electrical, or mechanical is preferred.
