They liaison between a variety of stakeholders. These include but are not limited to benefit plan participants, local union representatives, and employer representatives. With on-the-job training, the field service representatives provide ongoing communication and education about our retirement and health benefit plans. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous experience in pensions, benefits and/or Human Resources
  • Strong verbal/written communications; able to draft external correspondence
  • Exercise professional judgment, tact and discretion when dealing with sensitive matters
  • Able to travel out of state with multiple overnight stays

Responsibilities

  • Overnight regional travel, as required, to worksites/union halls to answer participant questions
  • Coordinate and conduct individual, small and larger group meetings explaining benefits
  • Take ownership of participant benefit issues to ensure resolution
  • Communicate (verbal/written) with participants regarding their benefit plans
  • Support activities related to ongoing benefit documentation using MS Office suite of tools
  • Interact professionally & sensitively with individuals from diverse backgrounds & perspectives
  • Progress through a structured career development program

Benefits

  • Hourly rate range of $28.42 - $38.46 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)
