Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced or Lead Field Service Representative for technical field support of the MH47 Heavy Lift aircraft in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. A successful candidate is technically proficient and has good relationship skills and an ability to coach others in maintaining the MH47 helicopter. The Field Service Representative (FSR) provides technical assistance on matters pertaining to the applicable airframe, system/subsystem, engine, avionics and electrical maintenance and acts as liaison between Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Boeing Sikorsky Aircraft Support (BSAS), LAR, AED Airworthiness engineer, TAG, and U.S. Government maintenance personnel. The FSR provides on-the-job (over-the-shoulder) training to Government maintenance personnel assigned to Special Operations Aviation in the field and sustainment level (common and unique) of maintenance and operations covering operational checkouts, systems analysis, system/subsystem replacement/adjustment, and servicing related to the applicable aircraft. From time to time, the FSR may be requested to provide on-the-job training to non-Government personnel who are under contract to the Government. Such training will be in specialized areas of maintenance or operations where the Government employees do not have the expertise. The FSR provides applicable airframe, system/subsystem, engine, avionics and electrical technical assistance in the form of informal training on sustainment level of maintenance of primary and associated test equipment, technical assistance to resolve difficult or unusual airframe, system/subsystem, engine, avionics or electrical problems and assists in analysis of maintenance difficulties in establishing maintenance and inspection procedures. The FSR provides technical assistance in the interpretation of applicable airframe, system/subsystem, engine, avionics and electrical modification work orders, manuals, engineering drawings and schematics pertaining to the applicable aircraft, component or system and assistance on peculiarities of the applicable aircraft, component or system. The FSR assists government personnel in identifying local training requirements for recurring and remedial training. All FSRs report to the BSAS Operations Manager. You are applying for a Field Operations position where our employees must be willing and able (potentially short-notice) to travel to a variety of locations (domestic and/or international) to meet the needs of our customers. Field Operations employees may be required to relocate to another Field Operations location based on customer needs and/or management requirements. Specific contracts supported by Field Operations could require employees to perform a deployment to a US DOD contingency operation. Employees associated with these specific contracts must be able to pass military contractor health standards for deployment.
