About The Position

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Field Service Project Manager to oversee the execution of startup and commissioning projects for large data center clients. This remote position requires managing project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/G.E.D. or higher
  • Minimum of five years of experience leading electrical, construction, or industrial projects
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
  • Proficiency in project management and construction industry software packages
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical, computer, and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • PMP or Commissioning Agent Certification
  • 7-10 years of electrical field services experience
  • 5+ years managing electrical construction or commissioning projects
  • OSHA 10 & 30 hour general industry or construction certification

Responsibilities

  • Oversee scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management for projects.
  • Receive job handoffs and conduct initial technical, scope of work, and scheduling requirement reviews.
  • Utilize project management tools and software to maintain adherence to milestones and deliverables.
  • Coordinate project meetings and formal communication plans with stakeholders.
  • Manage Eaton scheduling and work activities around other trades to drive execution efficiencies.
  • Determine mechanisms for successful job closeout, including punch lists and issue resolution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact throughout EESS activities on site.
  • Communicate safety program initiatives and concerns to stakeholders.
  • Provide financial oversight through cost control and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with commercial operations teams to reconcile client expectations with commitments and timelines.
  • Implement program level initiatives or changes from technical program managers.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
