We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in White Bear Lake, MN. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: + Completing repair activities on generators or components + Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner + Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools + Maintain detailed records of service + Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies + Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products + Maintain own tools To be successful in this role you will need the following: + Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities. + High Voltage / Low Voltage experience. + Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision - hands on exposure to working on power generation products. + Primarily engaged in preventative maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics on generators. + Basic Diesel Engine experience. + Requires direct supervision and review of workmanship quality. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Diagnose and completes less complex repairs to generators and components at the customer site. Performs preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner. Anticipates and ensures prompt and efficient attention to customer needs. Applying the use of specialized tools and following documented procedures and policies to diagnose and complete less complex repairs, including identifying and preparing required parts and tools. Completing required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims via handwritten forms or business system input screens. Maintains service vehicle and tools for cleanliness and proper operation. Completing training in line with skill and business requirements while adhering to all our relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to their supervisor. A CDL may be required to obtain upon hire Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older A current valid license is required for this role Must be 18 years old with 2 years driving experience This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations
