About The Position

We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician / Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in Manassas, VA. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Completing repair activities on generators or components Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools Maintain detailed records of service Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products Maintain own tools Responsibilities To be successful in this role you will need the following: Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities. High Voltage / Low Voltage experience. Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision – hands on exposure to working on power generation products. Primarily engaged in preventative maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics on generators. Basic Diesel Engine experience. Requirements

Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities.
High Voltage / Low Voltage experience.
Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision – hands on exposure to working on power generation products.
Primarily engaged in preventative maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics on generators.
Basic Diesel Engine experience.
Requires direct supervision and review of workmanship quality
Apprentice Trained Power Generation/ Electrical Technician (Preferred)
Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
Current relevant electrical certification
Locally valid driving permit
Minimal level of workshop related experience required.
Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products
High Voltage/ Low Voltage experience
A current valid license is required for this role
Must be 18 years old with 2 years driving experience
This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations
