About The Position

Job Summary: Diagnoses and completes less complex repairs to generators and components at the customer’s site. We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician/ Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in (Colorado Springs, CO) We offer sign-on bonus, relocation, competitive pay and benefits! Requirements

  • Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities.
  • High Voltage / Low Voltage experience.
  • Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision – hands on exposure to working on power generation products.
  • Basic Diesel Engine experience.
  • Proficient troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components.
  • Able to perform repairs on ATS systems and able to perform commissioning on a new ATS installation.
  • This role is based out of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
  • This position will require a Med-Card and we will also be required to complete a DMV driving report.
  • ORDER, DOT Physical and DMV Report.
  • CANDIDATE MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD
  • Current relevant electrical certification
  • Locally valid driving permit
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
  • DOT - A CDL may be required to obtain upon hire - Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older - A current valid license is required for this role - This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations - This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical - 3 years driving experience - This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use -Federal law requires operators of commercial vehicles to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age

  • Apprentice Certified Power Generation/ Electrical Technician (Preferred)
  • Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
