About The Position

We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician to join our team specializing in Power Generation in Tampa, FL. In this role, you will make an impact by completing preventative maintenance and/or basic repair activities on generators or components at the customer site with minimal direction. You will engage with customers in a courteous and professional manner, applying the use of specialized tools and following documented procedures and policies to diagnose and complete basic repairs, including preparing required parts and tools. Additionally, you will complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, and warranty claims via handwritten forms or business system input screens. Training will be provided in line with skill and business requirements, and you will adhere to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation, reporting any issues or incidents to your supervisor.

Requirements

  • Ability to engage customers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Experience in applying specialized tools and following documented procedures to diagnose and complete repairs.
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on power generation products.
  • Ability to escalate unresolved issues to more experienced Field Service Technicians and/or Supervisor.
  • Experience in completing required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, and quality documents.
