About The Position

Diagnoses and completes less complex repairs to generators and components at the customer's site. We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in Kapolei, HI. We offer sign-on bonus, relocation, competitive pay and benefits! In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Completing repair activities on generators or components, engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner, performing maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools, maintaining detailed records of service, adhering to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies, and ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products. You will also be responsible for maintaining your own tools.

Requirements

• Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities
• High Voltage / Low Voltage experience
• Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision
• Basic Diesel Engine experience
• Proficient troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components
• Able to perform repairs on ATS systems and able to perform commissioning on a new ATS installation
• Basic level field service work experience
• Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products
• Customer service experience

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Electric Vehicle work
• DOT A CDL may be required to obtain upon hire
• 3 years driving experience
• 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations
