Job Responsibilities 1. Lead a crew of Environmental Field Services Specialists 2. Assure all standards of quality met in the field 3. Be on top of all issues in your region and driver performance, accountability, cost control, vendor and client relations 4. Watch for safety hazards on jobsite, correct employees anytime they are working in an unsafe manner 5. Operate company machinery, including trucks, and all equipment with care 6. Hire, Develop and dismiss team members and to assure a high performing and high integrity team 7. Interface with clients on site to assure work is done and generate new work 8. Assure job site efficiency, safety, and decorum at all times 9. Work with Market Manager to assure clients are pleased and deliverables are executed on time and with 100% quality 10. Manages all costs: Labor, overtime, equipment, tools, fuel, vehicles, and inventory 11. Create and reinforce Valor Environmental culture with crew (attire, communication, work ethic, attitude) 12. Assure that job materials are maintained and utilized without waste or loss 13. Lead the work effort in the field and with knowledge of proper installation and maintenance of Best Management Practices (BMPs) 14. Demonstrate organization and be conscious of data usage amount (i.e. using data tablet, computers, etc.) 15. Ability to communicate clearly in written text, email, reports for completed work, and through all in person and verbal interactions (i.e. text message, email, etc.) 16. Maintain facilities and equipment/material storage yard so they are well organized, clean and free from debris and hazardous conditions 17. Complete all required reports and submissions in an accurate and timely manner including inputting all work into Field Aware mobile application and Work Quality Statement sheets 18. Take initiative to learn, train and develop skills that demonstrate effective leadership 19. Lead all efforts of crew work for the day’s events (driving to site, proper tool handling, management of materials, quality of work, sign off on reports/SWPPP, communication in field, care of materials and tools, keeping team from hitting OT, ensuring site safety measures, etc.) 20. Foster improved communication amongst teams and departments 21. Act as a sounding board to teammates related to personnel issues/concerns 22. Work with local leaders to create, obtain and exceed goals and objectives 23. Additional duties as assigned
