About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Management (FSM) Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of complex FSM solutions for clients in the utilities and energy sectors. This role requires translating business requirements into scalable technical architectures, ensuring integrations with enterprise systems, and delivering operational excellence. The ideal candidate combines technical leadership with hands-on experience, mentoring teams, and guiding projects to successful outcomes. You will collaborate closely with project managers, developers, and stakeholders to maintain high-quality standards while managing budgets, risks, and timelines. This role offers significant impact, shaping digital transformation initiatives and improving service delivery for clients. Frequent travel to client sites may be required, providing exposure to diverse operational environments and technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree (MBA or Master’s) preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience implementing FSM solutions, particularly in utilities and energy sectors.
• Proven experience leading complex FSM deployments and integrating with ERP, CRM, CIS, BI, and data warehouse systems.
• Technical proficiency in web-based business applications (XML, JSON, HTML5, Angular JS) and integration solutions using SOAP & REST web services.
• Strong understanding of utility operations, asset management, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated leadership in team building, mentoring, and project management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement at all levels.
• Proficiency in FSM software platforms, system integration, and data analytics.
• Ability to travel to domestic and international client sites as required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Click or similar FSM platforms in the utilities sector.
• Consulting experience with client-facing program delivery.
• Familiarity with GIS integration and mobile workforce management solutions.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies such as IoT, AI, and Machine Learning applied to FSM.
• Professional certifications in solution architecture or relevant technical areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of FSM solutions, including system integrations, data flows, and technical specifications tailored to client needs.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight during implementation, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and project timelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and efficient project delivery.
• Engage with clients to understand business processes, translate requirements into technical solutions, and communicate architectural decisions.
• Build, mentor, and develop high-performing technical teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
• Establish best practices for solution design, coding standards, and system integrations; conduct code and design reviews to ensure quality.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, enhance solution efficiency, and ensure adherence to regulatory and industry standards.
