As a Field Service Helper, you'll assist our experienced technicians on installation and service jobs across Connecticut and the Northeast. Most of your time will be spent on installation crews , where all jobs are handled by two-person teams. You'll load tools, prep job sites, perform mechanical tasks under direct guidance, and learn on the job. This role is a launchpad into our Installation division - where you'll get hands-on training with real equipment and grow into a technician role over time. Service jobs (which are typically solo) are supported by more experienced techs; you'll start where two sets of hands are essential. You must be comfortable working outdoors, lifting 70 lbs, and learning new tools and processes in a physically demanding environment. This position feeds directly into our Installation team , where teamwork, precision, and hands-on learning are key. If you want to work with your hands, build real skills, and grow into a career-not just a job-this is where it starts. Our best Helpers grow into Technicians within 1-2 years (often faster), running their own jobs and earning $25+/hr. From there, you can become a Senior Technician leading complex installs and mentoring others.
